If you hear sleigh bells, think Santa! There are few images that conjure Christmas quite so quickly as a sleigh setting off on its festive journey. But here at Me&McQ, that familiar favourite is just the beginning.
What if dogs took the lead? What if woodland friends came along for the ride? And what might happen if the Snow Queen joined Santa?
Santa supplies the inspiration. We let our imagination take the reins.
A sleigh for the dog lover
In Santa’s Dog Sleigh, elegant Afghans and golden retrievers take their place around a gleaming golden sleigh. Crowns of green leaves and red berries add a wonderfully festive flourish, while Santa’s favourite spaniel sits amongst the presents.
With long flowing coats, ornate curves and tiny details to discover, this is Christmas imagined for someone whose four-legged friends are very much part of the celebrations.
Through the woods with Santa
Woodland Sleigh takes a more rustic route. This time Santa takes his turn powering the Christmas Eve sleigh, with woodland companions joining the fun.
There is even a decorated Christmas tree tucked into the scene. It is a little woodland world to explore, and a lovely choice for nature lovers who enjoy spotting the smallest characters in an illustration.
A journey into winter enchantment
For a different kind of Christmas adventure, Snow Queen Sleigh brings Santa and the Snow Queen together in a snowy wonderland.
White wolves, a snowy owl and delicate, icy filigree give this design its fairytale atmosphere. Reuben’s illustration invites you to step away from the everyday and into a winter story of your own.
A little world, ready to unfold
Each of these three designs combines detailed illustration with intricate laser cutting to create a three-dimensional Christmas scene. They fold flat for sending and open into a little world to display, with a blank message tag for your own words and a luxury envelope.
Each card measures 155 × 155 mm when folded flat. Whether you choose dogs, woodland companions or winter enchantment, the pleasure is in finding the design that feels just right for its recipient.
However you travel through Christmas, we hope you find a sleigh to spark your imagination, and a card to make someone smile.
With warm wishes,
Me&McQ
